A full length leather tongue is gusseted to eliminate dirt and moisture. 5 pairs of antique brass eyelets and 5 pairs of antique brass speed hooks for lacing provide the ultimate in adjustable support. These are the best work boots I’ve ever worn. Most days I hike multiple miles up and down steep slopes, these boots provide great support and were comfortable right out of the box. I also love the way the traditional moccasin design hugs your foot and locks your heel in. They are beautifully made with heavy duty leathers and a vibram sole. My granddad and dad were Gokey Boot men. I saw them hunt birds with an over/under shotgun and always wearing their Gokey Boots. I bought these after purchasing the Boyt 10″ boots. The Supreme 10″ boot is just that; it is supreme to all other makers of boots. They give your feet some room to move while adding support at all the right places. The leather and craftmanship on these boots is amazing. When they were taken out of the box I just sat there and stared at them. The next thing I did was smell the wonderful leather scent. The waxed laces are a great detail and they perform far better than other manufacturers “waxed” laces. My feet never get sore in these boots. Shipping was fast.
