Residents of California – Proposition 65 WARNING

Chui means leopard in Swahili and no animal describes our new warm weather, 6” safari boot better than the fast and remarkably tough leopard.

These boots have a Land Rover’s worth of built-in support to keep you going all day and their lightweight construction keeps feet cool and comfortable. Sturdy, but lightweight, Vibram soles keep jagged rocks and thorns at bay while providing robust traction. Hardwearing bull hide lowers, double layered around the bottom of the boot give protection where it is needed most; while canvas uppers and a glove leather lining add remarkable breathability without sacrificing durability. Perfect for Africa, Mexico and the traditional desert areas of the United States, the new Gokey “Chui” will let you move like a cat wherever your next hunt might be!

The quality is exceptional. The fit not so much. I bought the EE and when I received the boots, were still narrow. I wish the bootmaker remembered the in the USA, we have large, wide feet. I would buy again if they had a way to measure feet. But the shoes looked amazing, and the workmanship was unequaled.

Excellent boot. However the leather is a lot stiffer than my other Gokeys.

Very well-made. Reminds me of the Gokey boots and bags from 35 years ago. And made in the US!
